             CHARITY OF CHOICE GRANTING PROGRAM

Church Organizers Foundation (COF) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization providing investment and strategic financial planning services to other 501(c)(3) charitable organizations, like churches and schools. Our mission is to support our customers in aligning their ministry and missional goals with God's abundant supply. Toward that end, COF is pleased to offer the Charity of Choice Granting Program. COF recognizes that those closest to frontline ministry efforts are blessed through partnering with professional stewardship teams that align ministry and missional goals with measurable and meaningful outcomes.

The Church is reminded in Psalm 34:10 that in Christ they lack no good thing. God's supply is plentiful. The challenge lies in our overall stewarding of it. COF is over-joyed to partner with frontline Christian organizations, nationwide.

PURPOSE

The goal of the Charity of Choice Granting Program is to promote and empower frontline ministries through a stewardship approach that monitors a "dual bottom line," Gospel impact and financial sustainability. COF’s Charity of Choice Granting Program enables customers to participate in directing COF grants to their favorite “Charity of Choice.”

HOW TO QUALIFY AS A “CHARITY OF CHOICE” CHARITY

To become a qualifying charity under the Charity of Choice Granting Program, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization must open an endowment account at COF and have ten (10) investors (with an aggregate minimum asset base of $1M) at COF select the organization as their “Charity of Choice.” The charity then becomes eligible to receive an annual grant from COF.

HOW TO SELECT A FAVORITE CHARITY

Participation in COF’s Charity of Choice Granting Program is optional for investors. To participate, an investor must open a standard brokerage account at COF and choose their favorite charity. Once the favorite charity has been selected by 10 or more investors and with an aggregate minimum asset base of $1M, COF will give an annual grant to that charity.

GRANTING SCHEDULE

COF grants are delivered once annually, within thirty (30) business days of the end of each calendar year. Qualifying charities will receive the grant based on the following method:

  1. Grants will not come from customer accounts. Participation in the Charity of Choice Granting Program is at no cost to participating customers.

  2. Instead, investors will direct COF to donate a percentage of all asset management fees paid to COF to the charity of their choice. All grant monies will originate from COF, at the participating investor’s direction, and be transferred directly to the “Charity of Choice” account.

  3. Grant amounts will be determined based on assets under management for the 10 or more investors who chose the participating charity. The goal grant amount will be a percentage of all asset management fees charged to participating investors’ accounts.

  4. Participating charities will receive an annual statement updating the number of participants and total investor assets, without disclosing customer information, such as names or account numbers.

DISCLAIMERS

  1. Confidentiality. COF customer information, including information related to the Charity of Choice Granting Program, shall be treated on a confidential basis, and shall not be released to any person or entity without the customer’s authorization or unless otherwise requested by law, regulation, or court order.

  2. Conflicts of Interest. No individual will receive monetary benefit from the Charity of Choice Granting Program. Charity of Choice Granting Program participants receive mutual benefit through directing grant funds. The greater the participation rate in the Charity of Choice Granting Program, the greater the benefit for participating customers and for COF. Church Organizers Foundation has no financial incentives to recommend any investment strategy, financial plan, product, or service.

  3. Waiver of Liability. Church Organizers Foundation will not be responsible for, and is hereby released from, any loss or damages in any form resulting from the failure of a 501(c)(3) charitable organization to fulfill any of the goals or objectives for donations and grants in participating in the Charity of Choice Granting Program. COF does not share fees with unregistered persons or organizations. Instead, the Charity of Choice Granting Program enables COF customers to direct how COF gives grants to favored charities.
